Is the cone actually metal or is it pressed polypropylene? ie, is it cold if you touch it (gently!).

Them Dali Megalines arn't electrostatics from what I can see, looks like a line array with magnetostatic/planar/isodynamic/ribbon tweeter array (not sure which but not likely to be electrostatic)
I like metal cones, I will be using them in my new system. Looked a bit optimistic to use a largish metal coned driver in a 2 way with passive crossover, but then then it has those dimples around it's perimiter which I will assume is a breakup taming feature, pretty clever

Unfortunately I won't be owning any megalines unless someone needs a kidney 
They isolate the speakers from whatever surface they're on to stop vibrations from being transferred.
I work at RS so I got them for cost price

I can't do that to my keyboard as the keys are like laptop keys - - take one out and you'd be lucky to get it back on again but thankfully I have a keyboard duster that I use regularly to stop the buildup of crap and never eat over the keyboard
