I know that this is a bit weird etc.. but i had to get it off my chest as its had me excited for days. I got a new job working for a coporate multi billion dollar global company in their central london office. I currently work as Information Systems Manager and only report to the Head of IT who spends most of his time in greece :D. The best thing is im 18 because i got head hunted. im not trying to brag like that but i had to tell somone apart from my parents :D I work mainly in the office itself but spend some of my time in the datacentre floor which is my faviourite area atm, we had the whole room go down due to power failure and the generator didnt kick in properly and i had to sort it all out by myself hehe and i did it so was well happy :D

Anyway if anyone else has a new job post it here :)

Even more impressive if you have a wide span of knowledge and responsibility.

Not sure why an IS Manager who reports to the head of IT only would manage servers and exchange though. In most large companies that would be done by different teams.

Cant imaging why any multi billion dollar company would leave their systems down to an 18 year old with a diploma and a ccna, but hey. First job too i guess?

Sounds like im a bit jealous but i guess i kind of am. I have so much red tape at my place it sounds like youve got a good deal, congrats.

Ignore the critics, you're probably learning more than most people I've met in the IT world.

Good luck in a big corporate environment though - make sure you document everything you do and watch your back.

Dont see any critics, just people interested in how an 18 year old managed to get where he has. Its not normal, so can understand why people are questioning it :]
