I do kind of agree in principle, however if you think about it, there is some logic because she has young kids, she's going to be dead soon, and her boyfriend is a nobody, as far as I know, so realistically they will need some money to support them as they grow up, given that income will be zero as soon as she dies.

Not to mention on a more practical note being married solves a huge number of issues with regards to inheritance rights.
I don't agree with that, spend time with your loved ones, not having them read about you in the papers / magazines everyday.
Feel its pretty **** to be wanting to make money out of dieing.
Her husband could always get a job, and support her family.
Her family isn't the only one affected by Cancer, and her children won't be the only ones to have a parent die of cancer.

She is getting as much money as she can. In the hope it will look after her children when she has gone. Its a mother doing what she thinks is best for them.
To be fair she can't really be making money out of dying for her own benefit can she...
I mean, I can't stand the woman, but in what appears to be attention seeking (because that's what her whole career has been based on) is actually quite fortuitous and selfless in a way, that she is prepared to have the most undignified death ever, plastered all over the media, in order to rake in the cash for her kids. She has said that she wants to privately educate her kids, and I imagine have them go to university etc which obviously costs a lot, and for them not to turn out like her, and if she has the opportunity to do that, and people are willing to pay her, then surely that's fair enough?
You mention her husband, well I just read about him on wikipedia, he sounds like a right **** so the chances of him providing the life that she wants for her kids is pretty slim I'd imagine...
or what if she makes a miraculous recovery and gets all this coverage too.

Honestly when I first herd about this it stank of a PR stunt to me. That Max guy is handling this, and it's just the kind of thing that man would do. Money Money Money, Capitalism at it's best, shows to me, that people are more bothered about a pay day then most other things in life.
Thats just how Jade Goody comes across to me, all she is after is money.
I disagree, I don't think Jade Goody should be too bothered about making money.
Her husband, should go get a job, and raise the children as most partners would do without question.
I don't like any of the media attention she has ever gotten, and still fail to see how people rank her as a celebrity and why people bother with her.
Cancer isn't a nice thing, but neither is taking advantage of a situation like this for personal gain.
I'm dead against it.

I've lost a brother to cancer, he was 19. I talk about him all the time and celebrate his life every chance I get, even 8 years after his death. We almost mention him daily, What would Jay have done, Jay would've loved this, Jay would've wanted that. I've excepted his death and thinking about him and talking about him makes me feel warm inside and keep his memory alive.
But back to Jade, the final days will be the worse for her family as she slips in and out of consciousness and you start praying hard for just one more day, one more hour, even one more minute. Terrible times ahead.
This to be honest, while I think it's horrible for her and her family I just don't really understand this predication with very ordinary people who become celebrities.

The guy she is marrying isnt he kids father, he's Jeff Brazier and is on TV, not short of a bob or two. Marrying him dosent give him the right to take everything, providing she is of fit mind, she can still leave him nothing (although if married he could challenge it). Look at what happened to Anna Nichole Smith, she never got her hands on her billionaires money, ending up with a few miserly million.
I believe there has been mention of her death being filmed?
Together with the wedding I'm sure they will be out on 2 discs DVD and possibly Blu Ray

Aye. I don't particularly feel anything for the woman other then sorrow for the condition she's been lumped with. The more she can get the better.
Just been reading about it all and previously there was no one who hated Jade Goody more than me. But i have a new found respect for her now. I've been reading about how she let a documentary team follow her progress through her cancer treatment and through all those intimate times you wouldn't want on camera and how good of her that was so that people could actually see what it's like first hand.
Then i read she was going to be getting £700k for her interview with OK! magazine and my first thought was "oh ffs, there she goes the old Jade Goody" but when i thought about it a bit more i realised i was wrong. Even if OK! had given her £10 billion, it wouldn't have mattered - she know's she is going to die so the only stimulus for getting that money could be for her children and not one of personal gain.
That said, Jack Tweed is still an arrogant, stupid-as-****, retarded ****. Stuff him back in jail i say.

Good God I have read some toe-curling, stomach-curdling Jade Goody jokes today... I felt dirty after reading them. 
P.s. I do not find cancer or Jades predicament funny, I can just appreciate all forms of humour, no matter how dark. A funny joke is a funny joke no matter what the topic.

i find it hypocritical that it's acceptable to make fun of someone if they're (relatively) healthy, but one mustn't make fun of the same thing if they're dying
