What a brilliant morning I've had.
I was invited up to the Histology department where a nice lady gave me a tour.
It wasn't long before she pulled out peoples different body parts all in a solution called Formalin before they were sliced & diced.
First on the slab was part of a tumerous lung and I slipped on the gloves to have a good poke around.
It was quite scary to think I had my had hand gripping a persons cancer that they've had removed.
Next on the slab was a womans breast which was quite a shock and has put me off breasts for a bit.
All the fat inside looked exactly like sweetcorn with the same colour
Turning the breast over once again showed the tumour and how hard it was.
I then had my hand up somebody's poo hole in their colon and that was followed by livers, kidneys and other assorted bits ready for slicing & dicing.
Truly one of the most amazing days I've had.
Yesterday was also brilliant.
I'd been invited up to A&E and escorted around the whole process of patients coming into A&E and where they are sent depending on the 5 different factors of Triage.
In the afternoon I spent a couple of hours in the Renal dept watching people having Kidney Dialysis.
I love my job.
I give my permission for you to post as many Jesus pics as you like
