I haven't got the game but Guile's sonic boom has always been done in other SF games by holding left for about a second and then quickly pushing forward + punch button. (The forward + punch should be pressed at the same time but the punch should never be pressed before forward, obviously)

Hmm just got really annoyed for a second and just mashed the buttons and managed to do a sonic boom. lol

Hell can I do it again though.

Sonic boom - hold back for 2 secs, forward and press a punch button.

You really need to practice; it's one of the easy moves to pull off.

Why does throw have its own button? Seems silly, why isn't it just done like in the older games?

I want a stick so badly, gonna trade in my 360 if I must for an expensive one. Going round town tomorrow for a good look for sticks.

That is insane. A 360 for a stick.

well, I did sell my 360 so I could buy a DVD player. Not like I couldn't afford a £50 dvd player, just that I used the money I made selling the 360 to buy it.

For what its worth, the hori sticks are great, the combos are extremely easy to pull off.

It dosent look like i got my TE stick (its not been despatched anyway), so the hori will have to do till they come back in stock.

How do you find performing the revenge moves (triple punch/kick)?

Throw = weak punch + weak kick.

I seriously cannot wait until I get my stick next week, the pad is woeful at times. I'm not doing too bad, I seem to have a lot of Ken's moves done, the Super one is still causing me problem though!
