what watt PSU do I need?

iv got a 400w PSU running this atm but dont want to kill it if its not right for the setup below

Asus WS board
E4400 looking to put a E8200 in there soon
2gb DDR3
2x 120mm fans
1x 140mm fan
Matrox G550
2x adaptec x8 bus PCI-E
1x Intel Fiber PCI-X
1x 100gb 2.5"
2x 320gb 3.5"
15x 1TB 3.5"
7x 1.5TB 3.5" (they are in a external sas case)

The corsair PSU configurator (http://www.corsair.com/psufinder/default.aspx) suggests a 620w supply for 20 hard drives and a Core 2 duo.

Checked with extreme power supply calculator and that recommended approx 600w.
Are all your HD'S running off the PSU, The 7 x 1.5tb I assume are running ext power supply.

missed those numbers, you really got 20+ HDD's? over 25Tb? Why? You backing up like the whole internet just in case it goes down one day?

i would get a decent 500-600 watt mate just to be on the safe side

got well more then 20 lol just happened over time, got Supermicro 846TQ-R900B on the cheap everything bar the hdds so just had to fill it up but a few weeks ago the backplane died so had all the raid controllers and hdds so just built up one from normal bits i have like 8TB free tho
