i got a bit of inside info from purple.... trade ins on ds lites will be going from 50 to 75 quid trade in value, i will be trading in my ds and getting a dsi for 75 quid.

I can't see the point in 'upgrading'. The only thing that I would be interested in is the slightly larger screen - but 8% isn't a lot..

i tried one out in a shop and i still prefer the ds lite, the glossy finish is nicer

Not sure if it's ok to mention but things like the R4 cards won't work on the DSi.

Certain high street store is offering a DSi half price if you trade in either your wii/ds/psp3000. Why would you trade a Wii in for a DS and then pay £75!

I don't think it's worth the upgrade yet, I'll wait until it's down a bit and I can afford it

. Camera games will be awesome.

I don't think I will be bothering. Got 2 DS lites, and this to me doesn't really offer anything new.

Use my phone for web browsing and the 8% screen increase is not worth it.

Had it had a much bigger screen and was ideal as an ebook reader then maybe i would consider it.

What was the Dpad like i was told it was similar to the DS phat and not as spongy as the dpad for the DS lite.

I would have considered upgrading - but the lack of GBA slot has put me off. I have too many classic GBA games and only my DS to play them on.
