How will we say 2010 ?

From next year how will we say the year? "twenty-ten" sounds a bit american to me. So will we say "two thousand and ten" ? But for 1910 people say "nineteen ten" rather than "nineteen hundred and ten" or even "one thousand, nine hundred and ten"

It was Ninteen Eighty One, Sixteen Forty Two, Eighteen Thirty Two, so why can't it and shouldn't it be Twenty Ten ?

That said, i think i am going to go with Two Thousand and ten.
