How will we say 2010 ?

Twenty-ten is 20 10. We don't live in a year that has two seperate numbers. We live in in the two-thousand and Tenth year from AD or something christian like that, which looks like this '2010'.
I may just say ''Two-thousand and tenth year from AD or something christian like that.'' Everytime.

Years are normally always pronounced

First Pair - Second Pair

Nineteen-Eighty
Eighteen-Forty

Which means the correct way would be

Twenty-Ten
Twenty-Eleven...

It's just because it sounds right. It's like road numbers, the A133 is the ay one three three, not the ay one hundred and thirty three. Or the B1402 is the bee fourteen oh two, not the bee one thousand and two.

And the M23? The A27? The M62 or M42?

History will show that twenty-ten is the correct way. The decade will be known as the twenty-tens and by 2020 the 20th century will no longer be recent history and we'll be back to calling them the 20's, 30's etc.

It's the future, I've tasted it!
