Well your posts come across that the courtesy car is yours, in fact it’s not it’s a family members, Not being picky or funny but you are quick to mock folk who drive their dads car or say a car is there but in reality it is not.

theres a difference to what fox posts, and the fact he nips his mum or dads cars down the garage for a service now and then
bit of a difference to the illegal fronting and stuff he (and most of the forum i might add) frown upon ?
Why are we arguing about this? What a pathetic little exchange. I drove to the dealer, discussed an issue with them, booked it in and will drop it off next week. I will be the sole person insured on and using the courtesy vehicle for the duration of the time the car is with them, just as I was the last umpteen times I've sorted issues. My parents are far too busy to faff around getting cars serviced, I''ve got the time so I take care of it for them.
What exactly is your issue here

Seem to be a high magnitude of people haveing ago at fox just as of late. Ive said my bit.

Fox is an easy target due to his posting style. People just want to take him down a peg. It isn't on really, he gets unfairly treated,
I drive my parents cars and from time to time will also handle the servicing if needs be. So what?
I'm quite sure Fox is smart enough to appreciate the reaction his posting style may get from time to time.
Far from unfair, I think he's more than up for it as his posting style suggests.
And more often than not, I think he wins the Battle if not quite the War.
To those who don't like him, or me for that matter, theres that much wasted ignore function.

Yeah I thought it was terrible in standard form, felt like a boat to drive, brakes were terrible, stereo was terrible. Didnt think there would be much point in spending money on getting it half decent so sold it. The ST24 be it a totally different class of car, is so much better and fun to drive!

What do your folks do out of interest?

What I meant was, yes he brings a lot on himself with his posting style. However, people do go searching for him and jump onto every post, just to provoke a reaction.

I'd be very careful of Drive Assist, my housemate has just been ****** over by them for "damages" while she had the car. It's her own fault to a degree for being a bit naive but it doesn't excuse their money-grabbing exploits.
I've certainly learned to take photos of the car inside and out when I pick it up and the same again when they hand it back.

I wish Hilly would post a post without refering to Fox's "posting style" it's getting boring.
If you want my opinion i'd compare a Fabia vRS Diesel with a Polo, Ibiza, Fiesta as city cars. Not a Golf, Leon or Focus which are small family cars.
Whether anyone thinks i'm wrong is their choice.

Thanks for the warning Panzer, I'll take some pictures when I can. We did a thorough inspection (me and the guy who dropped it off) before I signed for any thing and the whole car was looked at by my self. Should be fine!
