The new walkers crisps flavours - tried them yet?

Yep, Nandos crisps. They are truly legendary.

Yep sorry all these other crips pale into insignificance when compared to the Nandos Hot Piri Piri crisps.

Still like a pack of Sweet Chilli crisps now and again but once you've had Hot Piri Piri there is no going back.

The Nando's Hot Peri-Peri crisps just tasted like Wuster Sauce flavour with added lemon/lime. Not hot in the slightest either.

The greatest crisps in the world are these :

They sell all of the flavours in Shell petrol stations and I have seen them in Asda.
The best one is onion bhaji by far, would never buy the builder breakfast again still trying to get rid of the 6 pack we bought of them.

Here my opinion :

Builders Breakfast - Takes very strongly of fried egg - horrid and shud be called Builders Bottom

Cajun Squirrel - Quite nice tastes like curry

Chilli & Chocolate - Actually pretty nice tstes vety choclatey

Duck & Hoisin Sauce - Vile, absolutly vile

Fish & Chips - Tastes like a weak salt and vinegar - the best of the 6 i think

Onion Bhaji - tastes exactly like what it says

Just tried the last flavour Onion Bhaji and it was nasty like the rest of the the flavours.

It's a pity that Golden Wonder went bust a few years ago because they did a cracking range of flavours under the banner "Quite Hot Crisps". Golden Wonder's mustard flavour crisps were only second to the scarse or now extinct Brannigans Beef and Mustard flavour.

Their all disgusting.
They should bring back the one with chives in, make a bolognese flavour and maybe try a beans flavour :)

now that is a good idea - bolognese - I like that.
might just taste like tomatoes tho'.
they could do a range of crisps for each country...Italian, French, German, India etc.

cooo...imagine Vindaloo crisps!

my fave snacks used to be Branigans beer nuts.
sadly not made any more.
also love Planters dry roasted peanuts - they are softer than normal dry roasted which tend to be like hard pebbles.

Roysters used to do some flavoured nuts...New York Sweet n Sour and Louisiana hot spice (not 100% sure of the name of this) - those nuts were bursting with flavours.

They should bring back pizza Pringles....

Anyway, Tryed the Builders breakfast, onion bhaji, and chilli and chocolate... tbh none were that great, but onion bhaji were the baset out of the three.

My take:
fish and chips - tasted of tuna fish, not very nice at all 4/10
onion bhaji - not too bad but nothing special 6/10
duck and hoisin sauce - i thought these were pretty good representation but quite flavoursome 7/10
cajun squirrel - like a mild curry flavour, bit boring considering the name 6/10
chocolate chilli - unusual taste, but interesting combination of flavours 7/10 for novelty value

havent tried builders breakfast yet. None of the flavours really appealled enough for me to want to buy them again on a regular basis. Im sure there are many more imaginative flavours that they could have done.

on the continent I quite like paprika flavour, and theres also a bolognese flavour that they do in france. I think its the same company as walkers over here, because the logo is the same, its called something like Layes or similar. I guess the tastes of different countries vary a lot.

The Breakfast leaves THE most vile aftertaste that hangs around for hours, I felt nauseas :(

I did finally get my hands on some of these last night though:

Heaven in a crisp packet! :D

Burts are win. They fly off the shelves when we get them in at work, we had the 150g bags at 89p not long ago - bargain
