I'd be interested to find out how was it like building you pc with that case. I bought a Thermaltake Soprano long ago, and thought it the worst case ever. The PCI clippy thingies really annoyed me though.

You went from Hiper, a known bad PSU to an equally bad, unbranded one? Suggest you get that out sharpish and go with something like a Corsair...

PC P&C are very good PSUs.

To OP: Loved the story :) but bloody hell i wish i had that money to change gfx like every month :(

Edit: Can you attach a fan to CM Z600 cooler?

Well done for your first build.
The case is not really my taste and I do like it more if the PSU sists on the bottom, I think the cable management can be much improved and if I were you I'd get rid of the IDE devices, removing those big cables really cleans up. Next time, I'd go for a modular psu! ;) Anyway gratz for getting your first build up and running!

if you are unable to remove the IDE cables then have a look around for some rounded IDE cables. then again the cost of a SATA alternative these days is minimal.

with cable management i find its best to build the system, plug in everything then move the cables around to have few of them showing. go down to your local hardware store and get a pack or 250 cable ties for £4 :p
