Because that would be sensible and make a lot of money, GW arent known for doing that.

Time, cost, money, not wanting to detract from people playing the tabeltop, etc etc... :)

Besides, modders usually do a better job anyway as they put their heart and soul into a project, with no deadlines to keep. :D

your probably thinking of speedball which was a futuristic take on it.


i played bloodbowl as a kid i used to enjoy collecting the sexy cheerleaders and the little haflings or snots whatever they were called that were sitting on toilets taking a dump etc lol

What, except for Shadow of the Horned Rate, Dark Omen, Mark of Chaos and Battle March? :p

I sincerely hope this lives up to all our expectations. I used to play the table top version and remember how it felt to absolutely pound my opponents Star Player into the ground :p

Pea0n - I loved Dungeon Bowl especially the introduction of the spikey ball, which I have seen in a couple of screen shots. I haven't seen anything to suggest there are any dungeon based pitches in this but they could be planning on using it for an expansion later on.
 
I so hope so. Worst thing that happend to the original blood bowl was changing the card system to rolls in a book :(

Other than that it's one of my al time favourite "specialist" games from GW

As I was hit by a burst of nostalgia I had a look at the GW site to see how much the table top version costs these days. :eek: I would be well on my way to getting a 4870 for the price of the boxed game, a metal team and a handful of Star Players!

Looks like the electronic version will be a massive money saver too.

Playing Battle March at the moment, if only it was like Shadow of the Horned Rat.
It took me a year to complete that, if they just updated the graphics to mark of chaos graphics...
Also, do you have dark omen working on xp/vista?

Snotlings I think.

There was a sort of bloodbowl game a few years ago, I cant remember the name but it didnt do very well. I think it had an expansion pack as well.

You said that the board game nearly costs the same as a 4780? How much is it these days?

I have the board game at my dads house....maybe the bay is calling lol

I had two sets so I could play megabowl with four people. That was awesome!!!

I have quite a few teams as well. One being an undefeated Skaven/darkelf side.

Fantastic game!

I was introduced to a game while was out working in Rwanda couple o years back called Chaos League, that the one you mean? Very entertaining game.

So when is the bloodbowl coming out, theyre really taking their time with this one :/
