hi, I'm going to build a gaming PC and want a recommendation for a graphics card. I'm willing to spend about £200 and would prefer it to be by nvidia.
:)thanks in advance:)

Hi,
Sorry to highjack.
Is that better then the Radeon HD 4870 1024MB ?
which will be going on a Asus M3A78-T AMD 790GX board
As i was thinking of which one to go for my self :D

Cheers

Yup just choose whichever brand you like more or which one is cheaper at the time you buy. However just noting that you have an amd board so *maybe* you might get better performance if you build the dragon platform by having an amd cpu and gpu.

Lol. so either ones just as good. ? i'm going to be changing the stock cooler on either one anyway, as i've read they run very hot.
260, or 4750 1G. hmmmm ip dip :D

seriously id get the 260.

mine runs cool with a big overclock and the stock cooler, nd i cant hear it.

only reason id get a 4870 over the 260 is if i got this 512 version, which is a total bargain for the price.

But if you defo want the 1GB version, get the 260.
