Shall be watching this live on Saturday but have to say the card isnt the most impressive i've ever seen. In fact even the main event is pretty poor. I am curious to see how Koscheck does after his cracking display in the fight for the troops event.

Card:
Joe Stevenson Vs. Diego Sanchez
Dan Hardy Vs. Rory Markham
Nate Marquardt Vs. Wilson Gouveia
Josh Koscheck Vs. Paulo Thiago

Its not a great card name wise considering what we've had recently, but i think we shall see some great fights at UFC 95.

That's the weakest looking UFC that I've seen for a long time and the main event would be chief support at best normally, hence there still being tickets left.

This will also be the first time in a while that I haven't watched it live, as I'm at a gig that night.

Oki so it doesn't have a big name main event, but there are lots of good fights on this card. Stevenson vs Sanchez should be a war, and I hope Stevenson shuts Sanchez up can't stand him.

Maia vs Sonnen should be good, Sonnen is the former WEC champ and should be a good test for Maia, i truly believe if Maia can get his stand up good enough and his take downs effective, he will take Silva. His ground game is so slick.

Not sure for Marquardt vs Gouvea, I prefer Nate but not seen enough of Gov to know if he can take it, I believe Nate would do much better in a rematch with Silva, not saying he would win but I think it would be a better fight.

Koscheck should have his fight in the bag, hoping for a war though.

I think the UFC has taken the British fans a bit lightly here.

3/4 years ago this would've probably sold out based on the fact the UFC hadn't been to these shores for years, but now we have at least 3/4 events a year fans have the pleasure to choose a decent card.

Still think it'll be a reasonable event, I for one will be watching. .. not looking forward to the outrageous amount of ads that will no doubt take over every 5 minutes though!

My picks;

Joe Stevenson Vs. Diego Sanchez
Dan Hardy Vs. Rory Markham
Nate Marquardt Vs. Wilson Gouveia
Josh Koscheck Vs. Paulo Thiago

Looking forward to Nate Marquardt's fight.

Sometimes the least hyped cards turn out to be amoung the best (most fight night cards) so this could be pretty exciting.

But i agree, if the ufc wants to keep putting on events outside of the usa they need to put on better main events.

Yup.

And I just realised that neither the Pavlik or Cotto boxing bouts are on Setanta 1 later tonight either.

****!

Quite a good event really, all fights were pretty entertaining and plenty of undercard fights too. The 3 brits did pretty well i thought.

Just watched it and although wasnt impressed by the card, I enjoyed the overall event. As you say the English guys all gave a good show and did well.

Not a good card, but some good fights there and good performances by the Brits, Neil Grove excepted, I hope he's alright.

poor card but action packed event where the TV watcher got to see virtually all of the undercard fights as 80% of the fights were 1st round finishes.

enjoyable but back to contender/belt action soon i hope!

Well i cant complain with that. Was low on names but full of action.

Hardly any decisions, all fast paced. Better than some overly hyped cards IMO.
