No, well you can get to the final fight with any character but you have to win the final fight with a specific character to get the unlock (i think that'll work anyway). Just do it with the specific character tbh, if you stick it on easiest and just mash the H.punch/H.kick over and over you will win, no special moves or tactics required.

1. Akuma: After unlocking Sakura Kasugano, Dan Hibiki, Cammy White, Fei Long, Gen, and Rose. First finish the arcade mode (on any difficulty) with a character. Then fight Akuma on arcade mode, to do that get at least 2 perfect rounds, 2 ultra combo finishes (no more) before defeating Seth, and you can’t lose any matches nor use a continue when you die. Beating Akuma will unlock him.

4. Fei Long: Finish the arcade mode with Abel. That will unlock him.
5. Gen: Finish the arcade mode with Chun-Li. That will unlock him.
6. Gouken: After unlocking Akuma, Sakura Kasugano, Dan Hibiki, Cammy White, Fei Long, Gen, and Rose. First finish the arcade mode (on any difficulty) with Akuma (and some say Ryu as well). Then fight Gouken on arcade mode, to do that, get at least 2 perfect rounds and 3 ultra combo finishes before defeating Seth, and you can’t lose any matches nor use a continue when you die. Beating Gouken will unlock him.
7. Rose: Finish the arcade mode with M. Bison. That will unlock her.
8. Sakura Kasugano: Finish the arcade mode with Ryu. That will unlock her.
9. Seth: Finish the arcade mode with all the other characters. That will unlock him.

Ok guys,


I have unlocked everyone apart from Akuma, Gouken and Seth


Just Did 3 Perfects, and about 4 Ultra finishers before seth, didnt die once then i had to fight Gouken, i beat him and didnt unlock him!?!

i was thinking you had to fight and unlock Akuma before even fighting Gouken?

Ive Unlocked Akuma, have you have to fight him with gouken to unlock him

Im watching the CPU fight each other on hardest and no other CPU can beat Zangief. :\

E Honda was very close but still lost.

He just perfected Ryu. :D
 
Just a reminder to people with sticks - dont leave them plugged in when playing other games - I just played a game of FIFA Club using the fight stick and even though I am usually awesome we lost :(

I still dont get how we couldnt sub E. Honda into goal :p

Just watched the AI Zangief win 25 times in a row beating every character I have unlocked so far and sometimes them a 2nd time. What a joke. :\
 
I still can't get the Turbo function to work on the TE stick.

I press the Turbo button for 5 seconds then the button I want to map. No LED lights or nothing :confused:
 
Thats not it - you have 5secs to map it...

So hold down Turbo then kept it held and choose the button you want to turbo pretty much straight away.

Press once to get fast turbo (leds flash very fast)
Press twice to get slow turbo and (led flashes slower)
Press three times to cancel... (led clear)

Also hold Turbo for more than 5secs to clear all turbos...

Got this game for £22 it's tremendous. How irritating is seth though!? :mad: I can beat every other character fine and dandy then struggle against him.

I'm playing it on hard though, I used to love Ryu but struggle to use him in this street fighter. I primarily use bison now.

Anybody else think ryu's ultra combo lacks in comparison to everyone else, especially Kens? Ken's is fricking sweet. I mean aestecically (I've spelt that wrong but you get my drift.)

Ryu's Ultra/Super are awesome when you mix them into a combo, heck even seen people do combo that resulted in using the Super and the Ultra. :eek:

I just suck at using him. I preferred his shin-shoryuken in EX3. Even though that wassn't hailed as an amazing game back then.

I love using bison, I've finally got a combo working, the one in his trial 'jump HK HP then knee press (or nightmare if I have super combo) I know it doesn't sound much but getting enough charge on the move to use the knee press is annoying at times. :D

Maybe its the LEDs not working only?

It definitely lights up when you hold turbo and then tap the button as required. LEDs dont light until youve hit both buttons...

Should be able to do Blankas electriticy with ease
