Jade Goody is famous for being a Chav but with a good PR agent. I really don't see the fascination with her, none at all. She is a nobody, loud mouth, racist nobody, there are a dime and dozen of them in any council estate.

Paris Hilton at least actually have a job, modeling, TV shows, Music, Movies...etc, and at least half decent to look at :p

The most annoying thing is that anti-anti-jade goody people now credit her with 'tremendous business acumen' as if beneath a veneer of mediocrity she's actually a brilliantly smart person.

In reality, she was loud on BB, got her **** out and her rowdiness attracted fans and haters in equal parts. Then, the actually smart people, the PR folks, come up with an idea and say to her "Do you want to do this?" and she says "Yes."

Rinse and repeat.

That isn't being a genius.

Oh whatever. I've been ill for the last three and a half years and you don't see me with millions in the bank for it.

What I've got isn't life threatening, but its depressing and ruinous. Just because Miss Goody has cancer doesn't mean **** to me.

I'm sick of people thinking that you can't criticise someone like her all of a sudden just because she has cancer and I'm sick of the blatent hypocrisy that this demonstrates.

Cancer obviously isn't nice but its not like people aren't aware of that. No-ones saying that Cancer "isn't so bad afterall". They're just sick of the celebrity circus and the lengths to which it is taken.

I'm not sure what point you're making. I'd be first in line to point out that she's unjustly famous, but that's not being critical of her as such. I'm just not in favour of this attitude that she's somehow wrong to be making the most of her fame to secure some money for her children. What's wrong with that? I also don't see it as hypocritical for her or anyone with an illness to suddenly start campaigning for it. Until you're in that position you can't know what it's like, and I think it's quite a leap for people to complain that someone who is ill would suddenly want better treatment to exist for the disease that they're going to die of.

The celebrity circus? That's hardly Jade's fault, it's the fault of society and the general public. She just happens to be winning this round, in a manner of speaking. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Nobody is screwing anyone out of any money, it's all business, jade Goody hired Max Clifford because he is good at what he does and has helped her make a lot of money, he also profits from this which is fair tbh, and with regards to screwing over the media that's a complete joke, Hello magazine are not giving her that money for charity, they are buying that story to help sell millions of magazines, and that they certainly will.
 
The only thing she's doing is annoying the hell out of those of us who never liked her in the 1st place, by being constantly on/in the news.

tbh I have more revulsion at that arse Max Clifford. He thinks (and the noddy public thinks) hes some guy doing Jade Goody a favour when all he's bothered about is his wallet and future clientele conveyor belt.

In total fairness, I really hate Jade Goody. Really. She's moronic and the fact that she's famous is ridiculous because she is famous for...being dumb and racist (though let's be honest she's not racist, just extra dumb). But it's not her milking the money. It's the PR firms. They almost definately approached her, she isn't clever enough to think 'I'm dying, let's make money!'. She just said yes to a shed load of cash that can support her children and, sadly, her **** for brains hubby. At least there is some good, and milking the Sun, Mirror and Mail isn't exactly bad for anyone.....

Exactly. It's like congratulating the elephant for a well organised circus.

It's sad that she's got cancer, but she's still, and always has been, thick as anything.
