the site (1st result), red = incorrect, green = correct site

edit: old site can be found by adding /old after the domain name

this site has finally gone live, thought maybe you could let me know what you think of it and if any problems :)

There is one problem i know of which i can't understand why and would like to know if anyone else gets it.

if you put ?n=C after the url this is the contact form for users with javascript disabled. I have tested most browsers and this works, but in firefox 3 on my pc the security code always comes back as incorrect, yet on other pc's using firefox 3 it works so i'm a little lost as to why and would appreciate it if i could find out if others are having this problem or it's just me.

thanks

oo Godalming! :)

Quite like the design, although personally I'm not a huge fan of green.
The header seems a bit empty, perhaps see what it looks like stopping at the edges of the main page, and do the same with the spanning navigation bar too.

Liking the changing pictures throughout the site, although is there anyway to get them to all change at once? And also it appears you are using a random script to get another image to show however, sometimes it'll continually keep coming up with the same image (presumably because you don't have many for the script to choose from).

the green is because that's the companies colours. I made many different variations of green and this is what the owner liked best so no chance of it changing.

The owner wants the fading images changing at different times so sticking with this for now though i personally prefer them all at once,

I will suggest we change the fading images to be in order rather then random but again it was asked for when i first started the design.

Latest news shows this error in firefox 3.0.6:

Also is "Lets talk tiles" supposed to have a slightly different bg colour?

what do you mean latest news? and also i am lost as to the lets talk tiles as i can't find it on the page

you are the right site? remembered to add the in the url?

edit: yeah you are at the wrong site lol, add the before tilemarket.co.uk, sorry i don't want this thread found by owner :)

can people check the non-javascript contact form for me found at ?n=C

just added the location of the old site in case you wanted to see it.

Just a few quick pointers.

Are the headers on each page suppose to be indented in further than the rest of the text.

I'm not sure about the font used and the text size, perhaps slightly smaller for the main body text?

Feel like the main menu font should be bigger?

Get a Javascript error on the Contact Us page. Could do with making the e-mail at the bottom linked to the contact us page or as a Mailto.

Overall structure works well though, so well done on that.

yes headers are meant to be indented, imo it looks better with the indent and the owner agreed. What are others views on this?

out of interest what browser are you viewing the site on and what resolution is your monitor? even on my laptop which is only 15" the text size is perfect but then i'm a fan of a good size text.

which menu do you mean when you say main menu? the products menu (cermics, natural/stone) or the homepage/services/contact us menu?

which page are you viewing for the javascript error (?n=4 or ?n=C) and what does it say?

good idea about the email as a link on the footer, will change tomorrow.
