**Street Fighter 4 - PS3 Match Arrangement Thread**

Honest to god, I didnt realise my score was like that :)
But now you brought it up, I will keep it like that :p

Its in rankings menu (network battle, but im sure its on main page). At the bottom it will tell you how with the buttons. The filter does it, you can find yourself and then another press of the filter button youll find your friends.
 
Good games with RP and Jesus there. Played 3 matches with each. Only won one match against Jesus. RP's Akuma is v. good. Only time I came close to beating him was with Ryu.

I was playing Jesus and skippi90 and by the time it finished you were offline. Find someone else to whoop for a while :p i will be back later, just trying to install Windows on my laptop and SFIV is distracting me.

I did woop ojste and er.... Shugsomething or the other :D

I didnt put in my full effort towards the end of my games with ostje But tbh... something bugged me.

I'll admit if there was a prize of flashy play, he would get it because he was able to land a fair manner of combos on me, (albeit I did pull off 3 or 4 of my own). Unfortunately for ostje it more often than not amounted to nought. And something bugged me about that .
But then another part of me said, half the skill in street fighter is not only knowing your combos, but in the case of Guile, be defensive and knowing when to move and adapt to your opponents "feistiness".

I think the final tally was something 20-4 in my favour or something but my connection dropped in one game that I was going to win (i had won one round).

But to reiterate I felt more threatened by ostje then by you rp :D

Its a shame because it seems Ken (like Akuma) cant take a beating.

I just wish I was able to connect to Doomy's games.

Like months ago ;). Watch out for skip - he has Zangief 360 throws down to a t - I wish I hadnt helped him with the other characters now :p

haha i must stress that i am new to proper street fighter (though not to beat em ups... sc/tekken is what i normally play), i wasn't being 'flashy' with ken for the sake of it... i was being experimental with my focus attacks not in the name of flashiness but just trying it out.

also ken needs to do EX cancels to get his ultra to connect otherwise it just doing it from nothing which is awful... i whiffed a lot because i was unfamilar with its range, i failed to even punish you on your failed ultras with it because its range is so bad. from what ive seen ken cant chain is ultra into any combo other than with EX cancels

also i will always play aggresive, i dont mind people turtling and i may have walked into your traps a lot but it doesnt bother me right now because everything i do is part of learning ;)

also the final score wasnt anywhere near 20-4, you did beat me by a fair margin though but there loads of close rounds. didnt think you would be the gloating type either but you've thrown down the gauntlet now ;)

and also WTF @ zangief lol!!! i have no idea how to fight him, nothing i did did anything because his throws have total priority over my pokes... lariet seemed to have priority over anything i did with cross ups/jump ins so just need to figure it out.

edit- half the skill in any beat em up isn't execution is when to do it... thats obvious lol. i told you though, im new to it so i basically dont know when to use the right stuff.

Aye, i know where you're coming from. There was something i really couldn't place my finger on when i fought ojste but whatever it was i knew i didn't like it. I think it was the fact that everything i tried he would eventually work out a more effective counter for. The best example would be the Marseilles roll, which is supposed to be an evasive move, actually created the best openings for him, often resulting in a fierce dragon punch to the face. Either way, very good games and i learnt a thing or two.
