Duplicate MMS messages?

Hi guys, anyone had this? Had it twice now.

Received an MMS on Saturday. Read it, interesting. Received several more since then all from the same person. 30 minutes ago I've just had Saturdays message AGAIN even though the person who sent me it is currently fast asleep in bed and definately hasn't composed an identical message to send me again.

Is this common? What could be causing it?
 
Yep, happened to me tonight as well. You on Vodafone?

Got a mate in Utah at the moment, sent me a picture message at 3pm yesterday. Arrived again today at 8pm.

Not a stranger to this though, I get this quite a lot with my phone particularly with VM alert texts. Get 2 or 3 for one VM - very irritating.
 
It happens when the network doesn't confirm reciept correctly (problem can be at either end), and so the sending network resends.

Vodaphone have had a few problems like this recently.
 
Girlfriend is on orange she got the same multimedia message 7 times over a period of a few days! Ive had a couple turn up twice before.

Wouldn't worry about it.
