NASCAR - Week 2 - Fontana, CA

You know what JRS, i fell asleep again watching the nationwides :( that track really does send me to sleep for some reason, maybe the cups will be better hehe

edit, got to lap 111ish and fell asleep.

Doesn't shock me. I pretty much don't watch the Nationwide series any more (last time I watched more than 2-3 races in a season it was still the Busch Grand National division). I watch the road-course race at Montreal (and watched the race at Mexico City before they canned it), and I might watch bits of the spring 'Dega race and maybe one of the short track races. That'll be about it.

I'm thinking the Cup race might not be much good :( ******* Fontana! And to think they took the Labour Day date off Darlington and gave it to this dive....

That's the first time since Jeff Gordon did it in '97 that a driver has won both the Daytona 500 and the next Cup race. If Kenseth goes on to have the same kind of season that Gordon did, he'll be in with a shout of the championship (he'll certainly make the Chase).

It's alright guys. Vegas is up next, which has improved since the redesigned banking was built. Then Atlanta, now just about the fastest track NASCAR goes to since the restrictor plates take the speeds down at Daytona and 'Dega. And then we've got BRISTOL BABY!!!!!!!!!! Some good ol' short track beatin' an' bangin'!!! :D
