Cool. Will have to pick one up when they're back in stock and aren't £400. I find it funny how people can justify spending this much on an arcade stick but then complain about he price of the ps3. :D Anyway, not to hi-jack this thread. I am about to jump onto sf4. :)
 
I'm left feeling a little puzzled by the matchmaking system. I've played probably around 20 ranked matches today but still have 0BP, out of those fights only 1 player had less than 1000BP, it even matched me against a guy with 4000. I don't have a hope in hell of beating those guys so where's everyone else with a similar amount of BP to myself? Probably less than 10% of the matches i've had online have been people with 300 or less BP, those typically end up being good fights too, i'm just getting sick of ending up pinned in a corner while someone beats the crap out of me for them to only earn 1BP for the pleasure, it's a waste of everyones time.
 
Just on the note of fightsticks, d-pads, and analogue sticks, I'm on PS3 and using the analogue stick to play. Can't get used to using the d-pad.

Going to try a few other characters in ranked today as most players online are so cheap which big 'Gief can't handle.

Change the preferences, on xbox you click Right Bumper and then you can set the searching to similar rank or lower rank or something instead of stability :) - mind you from what i have seen so far it doesnt seem to make much of a difference who I get, I tried setting it to higher ranked players when i was around 12-1300 BP and I kept getting people with 0 or a few hundred :(

Theres something not right with the match making. I think it needs patched.

I got my copy today. The last fighting game I played was Power Stone on the DC so I think I better get in some practice for the tournament that starts soon :D
 
Just had 3 good games with Streeteh.

Zangief v Abel
Zangief v Abel
Ryu v Abel

Won all three and got a perfect round in the second match giving me my perfect medal and my trophy for all medals. :D

And got a trophy for Ultra Combo Master in the 3rd match.
 
Its slightly annoying not being able to spectate or have more than two players in a lobby. Im assuming lag was an issue here ?

I say this as one match isn't enough to warrant going through all the menus again to find another player but maybe its just me ? :eek:

Also does this have battle mode for local multiplayer where you can select a group of characters and and continually fight ?

p.s Please ad me if your playing on xbox360 as i have no friends with this game :(

No, as the spectators could just get a delayed view of the game (by half a second or whatever) and the fighters would see no negative impact.
 
Meh i just feel like i'm getting worse at this game. Gonna leave it on the shelf for a little while and come back to it, playing it today has really put me in a bad mood; i think the fact that every time i lost i felt i had to try again kinda broke my spirit, losing 25 times in a row will do that to you. I can't seem to do any of the combos i could yesterday which just adds to the frustration. Doesn't help that the large population of online seem to consist of people that are genuinely too good for me or people that spam the same annoying moves over and over; yes if i was better i should be able to overcome that last one, but i'm not, and it's boring to get the living daylights beaten out of you by a russian dude spinning around in circles.
