Dell 2209wa - no english info pack in the box???

Hi All

Just a slight oddity on the box contents?

All OK for the UK market but the "Product Information Booklet" in the package was virtually every European language except for English.

No big issue as far as I am concerned but did seem a little strange??? The CD was printed in english and had an online type instructions/manual included in English, so OK on that front :)
 
What's the panel like itself, thinking about getting one myself - any backlight bleed with dark scenes etc, what about colour conformity/reproduction? Any chance of the some screenshots of the panel and stand?

As far as I can tell ~ it is well constructed and feels nice and solid, I have not noticed any backlight bleed.

As for colour reproduction, well my main need is for photo editing so I am very critical. I am still coming to grips with the best settings to get the best calibration using my Spyder3 Elite but suffice to say it look very good indeed.

The colour fidelity is to my eye excellent but IMO takes about an hour to settle down ~ from cold it has suggestion of a blue colour cast which on some websites never seems to completely be gone but images look good and I cannot see any visible colour cast.

Not too sure if I will have the time yet to take some pictures for a while.
 
Sounds promising, appreciate the feedback. I'll be using it for image work too. Just waiting for a decent review before putting some green down.
