HTC Touch Pro or Sony Xperia?

Hey guys,
I currently have an iPhone 2g and I want to sell it and get a new phone. I am currently torn between the Touch Pro and the Xperia, which one is better? I would want to watch a few films on there so which has better movie playback? Also I most probably install TomTom on there so which one performs better as a GPS?

I only have the Touch Pro and love it. But when wanting to watch videos on it, use the HTC Touch HD video encoder as once any video has been run through that ther play perfectly on the pro!
 
Does your video lag at all? I had a HTC Trinity and whilst watching videos it seems to lag quite a bit. Hows does TomTom perform on the Touch Pro?
 
I have the Xperia, and it's great!

Widescreen too, so tv shows use up all or most of the screen, and movies are much bigger than they would be on 4:3

Install the new PointUI Home 2 panel, and you will be laughing it's SWEET!


Get Coreplayer to watch them, and use PocketDivXEncoder to resize the movies to 400xwhatever it is to constrain proportions :)
 
I've just bought a Touch Pro off a guy from another forum. 5days old (branded XDA Serra though) for £260. Seen the Touch Pro 2, features sounds good but its a bit ugly tbh.
 
What are the must have applications on the HTC Touch Pro? Wanna start downloading some applications so I can put it on as soon as the phone arrives. :)

For that reason alone i reckon a iphone 8gig 2g even is more then good enuff, id say too original poster too keep it and wait till the summer and then simply go on the new range of touchscreen 8mega pixel/12mega pixel handsets :)

surely one can wait 3 months !
