Games to watch for in 2009?

Apart from Dawn of War 2 which I'm enjoying the only other game I'm looking forward too for this year is Hearts of Iron 3 which should be out in August if development goes ahead at it's current rate.
 
just noticed star trek supremacy, me wants NOW! seriously loved birth of the federation, took up so many hours of my teenage life! :D
 
Doubt we'll see Deus Ex 3 until 2010. Doom4 around the same time. Rage should be here this year which I'm looking forward to, and oh yeah....Wolfenstein. Lovely Jubbly.
 
im finished with the Need For Speed series, after undercover ive bannned the word NFS in my house, that is the shi**est game ive ever played, switched it off after 8minutes

I know what you mean...I hated Undercover...but I have read that for Shift they have hired some of the guys from the GTR2 production team and are trying to lean more towards a simulation.

So here's hoping it is much better then UC (well can't get any worse), as I was (and would like to be again) a massive NFS fan.

Guildwars 2 more likey out 2011 according to the NCSoft quarterly meeting.

Im not sure what titles im looking forward to in 2009, a lot of the big titles may not even come out this year.

tbh the newer titles have been mostly dissapointing, maybe i'll try and discover past games ive missed out on.

Indeed, doesn't stop a potential beta from appearing this year however and there is a slight chance the game could be out next year as well.

As far as I'm concerned Anet have messed up the announcement with GW2 it's been nearly 2 years since the announcement and I'm just annoyed we have had next to no infomation since then.
 
This list depresses me :( the only game that makes me sit up and take note is diablo III.
 
For me Total War: Empire, and the next Company of Heroes expansion. And Dragon Age, but it's going to slip. And Diablo 3, just because it's the law, I won't enjoy it any more than the last 2 but that won't stop me from playing it obsessively til my hand's just a withered claw.
