I am very excited. These past few weeks I have been putting things in place to setup my own distribution company. I have got a little question. Where can I get a lawyer that knows all about international trade?

The thing is my parents are lawyers and good ones but I don't really want them to be my lawyer. It's not bad a thing as it would be free but then my parents would know how much money I make when drawing up contracts between the shop I will sell to. Where do I go to get my own lawyer that deals in this area and how much does it cost?

Many thanks in advance

As your personal advisers, how much of a cut of the profits will we get?

No offense, but if you have been in import/export before and if you have actually got a solid buisness plan, surely you would know where to find such a solicitor?

Plus if both your parents are solicitors (assuming they practise that perticular aspect of law) why would they care how much you make?? Also they would point you in the right direction also.

I smell porky pies here...

Has this guy pretty much had 1005 posts of this calibre?

Yes, DVDbunny.....words fail me

Though come on, what are you thinking of selling, a chance to redeem yourself in this thread if it's slightly ok

Or even, if you won't tell us the product, how much and how much profit margin do you expect to get, AFTER all of your tax shipping etc

No point getting angry upon entering the thread and reading the BS that entailed.

I for one would be happy to vote on a perma ban :)

You are attempting to incite logic from a dvdbunny thread. People have had more success dividing by zero.

I have got all the help from them on what to do, like for instance I asked them how you go about doing this or that. I asked them about drawing up contracts but only to understand how it works. I don't actually want them to be the ones who draw up the contracts. I would prefer to use my own lawyers. It's not like I know how much they make for a living and I would prefer they didn't know how much I make. There is nothing porky about that.
