now that we've all played it and had a feel for it, i think we should make all stages of the tounament 2/3 matches... its over in less than 5-10 minutes and winning 2 matches is much more conclusive than 1

Not going to happen. The rules are final, I am not changing them again. Don't worry, you'll get a challenge in this tournament.

Hi,

It looks like my job, BI Consultant, could prevent me for meeting the quarter final deadline (assuming I get that far).

I should be OK for teh first 2 rounds but I will only available during the day on the 8th March for the quarter final as I have to travel in the evening, might be able to play on the evening of the 10th but not likely.

I should eb OK for the semi final and Final.I will probably get knocked out of teh first round anyway

Had some good games with Chris earlier, who I'm drawn against first round of the tournament. We both won a few although I think I have the slight edge, so should be good to see what happens.

Chris let me know when you want to get it on for real, because I don't mind doing it before the actual date. Totally upto you mate.

I don't think this tournament is going to happen. I think most of the fighters have forgot about it.

But if people miss their games they forfeit and the other guy goes through, I'm sure most people will turn up to play.

Robert I know the rules state the first round of the tournament is one match and best out of 3 rounds, if me and Chris agree to best out of 5 is that ok? I think you get a better feel off your opponent over a slighter longer game.

All parties should post in here before they have their game, and straight away post the result and you can update the thread accordingly.

Just to throw this in the mix have,

Round 1 as Best of 3
Round 2 as Best of 5

and so on until the final.

I dont think that - I think a lot of peple have realised how good the talent is here and avoiding playing until they have to. Just surprised that the first match is starting the same weekend KZ2 comes out - I know its only 5min match, but Im sure most (like me) will dedicate this weekend to KZ2 MP...
