The Video Evidence Lifting Thread!

**** you :p Yeah it's a little faster than I'd like, and that's as low as I dare go with those rubbish l-brackets, fair comment though. I'll try it "fresher" next time just for you :p At least I'm getting to parallel ;)

hehe, you know im pulling your plonker :P
but yeah, was fast :D

I know I wish you'd do it more often, I like it! ;)

Fast and furious that's me mate! ;) :D

[vain mode]AS an aside, I think my back looks quite big in that vid, quite chuffed with that :D [/vain mode]

you look big across the back and the shoulders mate. its good :D

i squatted for the first time in months today!!!
on a bloody smith :(
though in some defence of it, it was a vertical one rather than one that went off at an angle, allowed me to go really low on a back squat.

it will have to do for now, its £5 a month for gym access in work and as i have no money, £5 is more than i can afford haha

yeah, though im sure the weight that you are lifting needs to be rethought, as i find myself pushing against the motion of the bar, meaning added pressure to lift the weight!

That;s a fair point. IT's not quite so natural the movement either IMO, but as I said you can still get some good gains out of it, as long as you remember to drop the weights when you get on to free weights again!

wont be any issue with dropping weight, but then realistically im not gonna struggle at the work gym. only about 120kg in plates :/

i'd agree on that, push your legs through the floor while raising your back, not legs through floor, then raise back :p

good work to get 180x2 though :D

Yeh I know the form was a little dodgy, the first set was better but unfortunately didn't video it.

I've done 200 before with stricter form, so hopefully that shouldn't take too long.
