Paypal withholding my money? Anyone had this before?

So what happens to the "frozen" money, im guessing eBay makes money of it.

I thought everybody knew about this new paypal policy? Certain high risk/value items and/or if you don't have 25 positive feedback from the last 6 months then your money gets frozen until positive feedback is left.

Yet another reason I will no longer sell on Ebay using paypal.

However, I am more than happy t buy stuff using paypal as the portection for the buyer is better than cash on collection nowadays. Hell, within 3 months you can claim something was broken when you received it and get your money back even if it was working fine when you first received it.
 
I have now received positive feedback, how long should paypal take to process the funds and make them properly available to me?

At the moment the status is on "On Hold-Post Now"
 
eBay and Paypal are amongst the biggest thieves on the planet! How what they do can be legal is beyond me. Any other company would have had the Monopolies Commission up their arses years ago, but for some reason eBay gets away with legalised theft.
 
I think after this I will stick to local ads for selling stuff, really not worth the agro and time spent on ebay!

I feel however people are still under the impression that ebay=bargains! Im yet to ever get a real bargain!
 
Ive had it once before, they basically think your a fraudster, it occurs if you sell more frequently, just post it and wait for feedback or 21 days to elapse.

if you think thats bad I've been paid with a bloody eCheque which means i have to wait 9 days till i receive the money and i can send the item, its a royal pain in the arse!!

You do get money off with ebay, but it differs with the item, usually its about 40-50 quid discount.

Fees are clearly published and you arnt forced to use them so why you so wound up by them?
 
I cant speak for Azagoth but for me its the withholding of funds, to me this is completely wrong and crosses a line.

If both parties are verified and have all the required bank details paypal have no reason for withholding the money.. oh apart from them earning more interest on the funds!
