Would you trust a friend with your car?

The only person I would trust with my car is my Sister. Cos she drives like a very safe nun.

I remember leaving it with the local Audi Garage once. Had a call from a mate I got through RS246.com that day, he said it was amazing to see me caining it on the M20 doing about 140.

I then advised him it cant have been me cos mine was in the garage.

When I went to pick it up it had McDonalds rappers and marks in the rear seats where baby seats had been installed.

Less than impressed.

If they drive a car of similar power or more regularly yes.

My friend has a 306 hdi (130bhp) and I regularly drive it.

If he wanted to borrow mine he could.

Same rules go for girlfriend and car. I'll only let a mate take it out for a spin if i'm fed up of it or i'm getting rid of it.

No way, although don't have many friends anyway so it's not really an issue I foresee.

Amandas driven it. I thought she was going to put her hand through the dashboard though, wasn't used to the style of gearbox. She got some VTEC action to the redline in most gears too, was pretty amusing but I was impressed how she handled it. Not sure shed be one to look after wheels parking up mind you, but we need to swap cars so I can take the dogs out in the SAAB.

Only other people allowed to drive it are whoever services/tunes/fixes it and I'd let my parents borrow it if they needed it.

I wouldnt let any of my friends drive my car... I have offered to let my sister tag along on the next trackday and she is more than welcome to trash my car anytime she wants.

If you drive a really powerful car - I wouldn't hand the keys to anyone

...as it's simply dangerous

He's talking about internet friends man!

Arhh... i didnt think of it that way.

In which case, id let Dup and RG-Tom drive my car without any issues, fairly sure neither would want to though.

Theres only really 1 friend, 2 at the most that i would trust to drive my car, and they wouldn't ever really "need" to.
