Stories like this really grind my gears, why can't these little slags keep their legs closed? is it really that hard? Other countries don't have nearly as many teen pregnancies, what the hell goes through the tiny minds of teenage girls in this country? :mad:

Maybe because other European countries have better sex education?

Also, America has pretty high teen pregnancy rates so its not just Britain.

Its not that they're to 'blame', only that they probably have bad sex education aswell it would seem and instead try to promote abstinence as some sort of retarded solution.

But they're in a similar situation to us, I'm guessing, due to poor sex education.

And anyone saying "oh kids know about sex already, why do we need to teach them more" are idiots who don't have a clue what they're talking about.

Because we don't make life tough enough for those that do so there is no example out there that says to these idots in basic terms 'Getting pregnant screws up your life big style and puts you into poverty' instead we have the benefits gravy train.
 
They know they'll be provided for by the taxpayer. And if that's not enough and they do a crap job of dragging the child up then again the taxpayer will be there to pick up the pieces.

Stop paying people to breed and the problem will reduce, surely?

This was the exact thought of an ex-friend. Her sister was prengant with a 3rd (or 4th - cant remember) child living off the state at the age of about 24 (had her first at 16 iirc) etc etc.

Her fiance (again another ex-friend) had just bought an 06 Focus ST for £13000, even though they were supposed to be saving for a house and wedding.

(they are ex-friends for those interested because she was a **** and he tried hitting on my GF :mad:)

Anyway, they are getting married in the summer and i have just found out he has been made redundant just after christmas so having to sell his car cos cant afford to run it (gets 20mpg so dread to think how he drives it :eek:) for £10500 :D.

Just thought i would share this as is sort of on topic (well her sister's ideas of having loads of kids and get the state to pay for them is) and also to say how pleased i am that this has happened to the pair of them. They now look like they will be married whilst both living with his parents.

Oh dear :D (bad karma and all that :p)
