Describe your best ICT lesson in school?

I'm an ICT teacher and one of my year 11 pupils today said how boring ICT was. We have just completed all the coursework, which i'd agree is quite boring. I'm now doing theory work till the exams. I asked her what would make the lesson enjoyable for her and she said it'#s impossible, she does doesn't like ICT.

Any ideas on a excellent lesson. Ideally involving GCSE topics.

Anyone remember a brilliant ICT lesson from school??

I remember one where we had to make a powerpoint presentation about something we liked, it was quite fun at the time as we had never used powerpoint before, so I had F1 Cars zooming across the screen

Whenever the teacher turned around, we held down four keys at a time so the computers would all beep. Good times.

She probably shouldn't have chosen to study a GCSE in it then! It's her fault that she's bored.

Nah, they get bored entertaining themselves.

Porn - will be my last lesson as a teacher!

DOS attack - they don't know what the word means.

All they have really done for GCSE is - database, spreadsheets, presentation, dtp, web design.

To be fair to the girl, doing theory in any subject can be mind numbingly boring. I've chosen to do a degree in Software Engineering, but it doesn't stop me finding revising for exams boring as hell
