Anyone here been to The Big Chill?

If so, have you ever taken kids? how does it compare to the bigger festivals as far as daytime activities go? I've always been against taking my children to a festival because I know what they are like, is it a big/drink drugs binge or a more wholesome affair?

Thoughts ladies and gentlemen please.

I went three years ago and it was good, the name says it all when I went it was very relaxed and there was a much more of a mature crowd there than the other larger festivals in the UK. However, the lineup is not always great but nevertheless decent and it has a few "hippy" zones. Out of all the festivals I reckon it's pretty child friendly, there are drugs there but its not that rowdy at all.

I'd also check out Latitude, which usually has some great bands and comedians and the Green Man festival too.
