Le Mans 24hrs Full Entry List

Well the press conference has just ended and the full entry list for this year Le Mans 24hrs has been revealed and its a bloody Diesel fest.

3x Audi R15's
2x Kolles Audi R10's
3x Factory Peugeot 908's
1x Pescarolo Peugeot 908

And on the Petrol side im glad to see 3 Aston Martin LMP1's and 1 Lola B08/60 Aston Martin.

GT2 as expected is a Ferrari sausage fest

Le Mans aka chav beer fest if the last few years are anything to go by. Classic Le Mans for me I think, roll on 2010.

Yup, with 5 Audis they don't stand a chance, even with the rules stacked further out of Audi's favour.

Still looking forward to the race this year. Didn't go last year because I was put off a bit by the weather in 2007.

Good line up of cars. Where have all the Porsches gone from GT2? Two Lambos in GT1, they won't stand a hope in hell but look fantastic out on the track :D
 
bloody hell. were going this year, ill be very hacked off if we travel all that way and there are no wailing engines to listen to through the night
 
Don't worry, the Astons should be singing, the Vettes and Spyker will wake you up and the Lambo sounds fantastic. I think it's 8 diesels in LMP1, the rest are all petrol.

Went to the classic for the first time last year - has an amazing time, so much more interesting racing than the regular 24h, which as you say is pretty much a drinking festival with a bit of cars thrown in these days.

Plus the trip down in an old car should make the experience all the better, I'm working on father to get his MG-PA on the road in time for a proper classic run down :)
 
Just as long as it doesn't rain... I'll be sourcing an Expo ticket nearer the time.. 4th year on the trot now

Its definately heading that way, but most of the morons can be avoided by staying away from their typical haunts i.e. Houx roundabout on Friday night.

When is Classic LeMans?

Wow Drayson Racing got their GT2 in there, they have been on Sky with License to Le Mans. Does that mean Paul Drayson got his license confirmed?
