Hi, trying to get information on this machete that was in my grandad's house when he moved out.

I've done some googling but I haven't really turned up much so just seeing if anyone knows anything about this kind of stuff :).

What is it you want to know about it exactly as there really isn't that much to know about machetes?

Might be worth trying a survivalist forum.
 
I have someone interested in buying it so was trying to find out anything about it that I could!

It isn't going to a chav, it's going to a Police trainer so hopefully should be more responsible!
 
I think what you have is a USA WW2 Military knive, obviously in good condition and probably a show form not working.

Will do a bit more digging. Also just a quick thing, Collins don't produce knives anymore and as such you get auctions for damaged blades going for $400 dollars.

He has got dementia and has had to go into a home.

If I can get more than $25 it'll go towards helping him have a comfortable life or a treat before he dies.

I would rather fork out the money my self than sell everything which will remind you of him in the years to come.

Just my opinion, I hope my links have gien you a place to start to search from.
