Will be buying this along with an arcade stick or at least a controller to play it on as soon as it comes out!

get a wired 360 pad it works fine on a pc

Except like most people's opinion on it, the 360 pad's D-pad is absolute crap for Fighting Games. It is playable yes, but to pull of complex moves will end up making you break the pad in frustration instead.

Thats why you use the analog

Still won't be as precise especially for long input commands and if you are an extreme hardcore player, one that is constantly fiddling about, you will probably end up breaking it.

3D fighting games obviously work well with the analogue due to their nature but with 2D fighters, different playing field.

Im a big fan of my fighting games but sinces i started using analogue i got much better i think its faster. Plus its more like a arcade stick

Well the analogue does offer nice smooth "roundy" movement, especially for half-circles, but I find they aren't as "stiff" twitchy like a proper arcade stick.

Surely people will use keyboard macro's for the easy win?
Being able to pull off complicated moves with one button, sounds a bit unfair to me!

People like this are just failures as fighting game players and need to broaden their horizons. Otherwise they should just stick to their FPS, RTS or MMOs with their macros.

OP..

i'd edit out that competitor mate :)

^^hey, where did you get that video of me playing left 4 dead

Must buy a new XBOX wireless receiver STAT and hope the new one doesn't break....

i can only hope they could have some way of disabling macros or atleast some way of letting you know whether the other play is using them or not
