Hiyahh!
Well i have a Corsa SRi 1.8... which i know is frowned upon! It is alright, was nice to have the 1.8 for when the power was needed and i did like the other wee thigns it had, mainly crusie control lol. As you all know, its by no means a good car in other respects, handling was pants, rattles were a bit much (i didnt think that was too bad till i had been in other cars lol) and it was super common!
BUT i felt like a change... something different and a bit sporty
On a 1k budget (as i am keeping the other car... kinda), but really didnt even want to spend that!
So i found a car i liked months back, and kinda fell in love with the idea of getting one! So been on the lookout, been in touch with sellers, etc and i finally got one last Monday!
£750, on 74000 miles, 2.0, 150bhp, alarm, casset deck with 6 disk cd changer... an Alfa Romeo 145 Cloverleaf TS
I love it!
Its obviously a 12 year old car... style wise! Also general condition... stone chips etc! Apart from that it runs very nicely!
Had belts, variator, sparks and all other wee thigns done tail end of last year, same with disks, pads etc!
Interior is very basic... lots of plastic! But the seats are super comfy and suportive!
Supprised at how well the car feels for its age, clutch is perfect, gears go in no problem what so ever, the engine noise is lovely! 30-40k sounds soo nice! All the power is there and smooth!
Handles very nicely... grips sooo much more than the corsa (but who wouldnt expect that), lots of fun throwing it around knowing it will stick!
Basically im shocked at what can be bought for the money... again i love it!
Just thought id share to you all with this truely epic post lol
(oh only done two wee things to it so far... replaced the front grille/badge as was faded and new indicator as old one was slightly cracked)
Ta for lookin!
Craig!
