I think you need to look at the tracks on the "Breakin' Even" label... they're funky / dirty / electro / house / breaks - in fact most of my recently bought tracks are from this label.

try the jules moretti podcast on itunes... he hasnt updated recently but some of the stuff on there is gold! And you probably wont know of it as a lot of it isnt mainstream.
