Hi all,
Just looking for some answers to some questions regarding 'plugs' in earlobes, preferably for those who have had this done.
I am looking to have an extremely small (4-5mm, no higher) one placed in, possibly where I already have an existing normal piercing, but am unsure as to a few things:
- How hard are these things to keep clean, and prevent infection? I've heard from some people that they are more liable to infection than other piercings.
- How do you start the process off? I can't find any plugs smaller than 4mm and I can't seem to imagine wacking one of those through a tiny hole...
- If I decide to take it out at a later date, how well do these heal up? Is the normal shape of the ear likely to go back to normal? I'm not overly bothered about just a tiny scar, but don't want wonky ears.
Thanks
