Hi Guys,

Need some advice please. I've managed to grab £130 to £140 to lay down on a graphics card. I'm looking for something that would allow me to play world in conflict at 1600 X 1050.

I'm not a heavy gamer, and originally built the machine for some vitualisation work, but then i also just like to pick up and play occasionally and found my 3450 to be a joke.

I'm looking at playing WIC, End War, C&C3, fallout 3, oblivion, HL2 etc.


It would be going into a Q6600 @ 3.0ghz with 8GB ram on Vista 64-bit ultimate.

4870 is mildly out of your price range but would rip through WIC. If you're adamant on staying below £140 you can't go wrong with a 4850.
 
dont go bellow 1 gig memory as it seems new games like gta 4 and upcoming games need loads of memory so as said above and if u want extra kick stretch to 4870 1 gig
