Bigger box!
I need to cut a piece of MDF to exactly 18 inches by 10 inches and i need perfect straight edges.
I'm simply not good enough with a hand saw and don't want to spend hundreds on a table saw.....

So what do I do???

Cheers

Go to a B&Q warehouse and they should be able to cut you a piece of mdf with straight edges to whatever size you want.

Find a timber yard, Jewsons, something like that - not a B&Q type DIY place. They should be able to cut it to measure.

Have you considered a circular saw? You can pick them up for a reasonable prices for light DIYwork and they'll fit the gap between hand saw and table saw.

Think clamping some straight wood on to guide the jig saw is so simple and so obvious it's practically genius!!!!

Thanks all :)

Next problem will be that once i've got my custom stick i'll need a new excuse about why i still suck!!
