Hi people

I was just wondering if anyone has tried one of these before? Or if you know anyone who has?

If i have no results after 60 days i can send it back! I'd definitely be happy with the 200 spent if it worked

Check here too

Worth a shot?

Thanks

try nicotinamide 4% aka freederm

wont irritate your skin and is quite effective against most forms of acne

Failing that go to your GP and request accutane/roaccutane which will definately clear the acne but have quite harsh side affects

I have a derm appointment coming up in which I'll ask for roaccutane

Near the end of the horrible procedure of doing

Topical Antibiotics > Oral Antibiotics > Asking for a referral to a Dermatologist > Roaccutane

On the NHS waiting list so I've just got to wait.

My mum offered to buy me this as she hates seeing the way acne effects me. She can get her money back after 60 days if it's not working

Tbh I'd rather take roaccutane and get it over and done with...

guess so, I'd rather have a permanent fix.

Surprised there aren't more replies here, people usually go mad over acne topics :D

Ummm, I don't want to get your down or anything, but roaccutane is not exactly a wonder cure. It helps for sure, but it won't necessarily rid you of the problem. Trust me, I know :).

This thread will likely get closed soon, but I do wish you all the best with getting treatment.

Well my acne is mild but persistent, I'm not one of those people who you'd see in the street and think 'Jesus, poor guy'...

Thanks for the kind words

I can believe the claims that are made by this machine. Every time I go on holiday (usually a month to N.america every year) all my spots and acne usually go within a week/2 weeks. Holiday snaps show me with no acne/spots at all. Surprised its not come out earlier. I am on Freederm at the moment and go swimming every 2-3 days and keeps getting acne and spots.

I've tried pretty well everything, and at the moment I have pretty much perfect skin. I know that if I stop my routine it will quickly get worse and I quickly get incredibly greasy skin with lots of spots

I put my clear down to

80% Oxy 10 applied before I go to bed. I find Oxy10 the best of the benzyl peroxide products for me. It doesn't make my skin as red as the Panoxyl stuff and it most importantly it doesn't make my skin peel. With the Panoxyl stuff it's very effective at stopping acne but I hate the white flakes of skin that appear on my collars!

15% a prescription from the GP for Lymecycline. They always start you on oxytetracycline because it's cheap. But I don't think I'm allowed to tell you what drugs to ask for on here. That's down to your GP. But Lymecycline works for me.

3% Not touching my face

2% Wiping my face with a face cleansing wipe whenever it feels greasy
