Yeah had a go, they want £6m+.

Only got £3.3m, and still need a new GK (using a young keeper as a backup) so gotta shift people come January.
 
I'm struggling along with the Pool trying a 5-3-2. We really need to score some goals, though. Brought in Sakho, Mattock, Fernadinho, and Srna as we seem to be lacking a bit at the back.

Any chance of a peek at your tactics syke? You seem to be one of the more successful amongst us :)
 
How are you guys tuning your tactics?
I havnt been able to find a good 4-1-2-1-2 tactic anywhere, so im currently trying to modify one of my old 08 ones...
 
Well the most important thing is to not expect miracles at once, it takes at least 4/5 games for a tactic to really start to shine. Then just look at each player carefully and think of how you want to use him, do you have a winger with high creativity and a mean shot? Maybe set his crossing to medium and give him a free role to allow him to drift in and take shots.

i know and with me playing in spain most of time, a good spanish player was reduced to average

Need to get a new season started on this patch, need to get rid of this uni assignment first and then i can dedicate my time
 
Having a very good season with Fulham, started off unbeaten for about 18-20 games, only to lose at Old Trafford 5-2 (oops) and Arsenal, both away. Still doing well sitting in the top 5, having only signed a few players originally, which none were full first teamers.

Signings were;

Razvan Rat - £2.7m (starting to become first team)
Davide Santon - £1m (rotation)
Robert Lewandowski - £1m (backup)
Michel Salgado - £150k (rotation, generally first team)
Denilson - £775k (generally rotation/first team)

Come January i had a few injuries, and a little budget left, so i decided to sell a few players;

Zoltan Gera - £3m
Fredrik Stoor - £3.5m

To then sign;

Rivaldo - £1.1m (straight into first team rotation)
Zuculini - £700k (backup, prospect)
Ronaldo - £2.6m (steep price, straight into first team rotation)
Skjelbred - £1.9m (first team rotation)

Total spending was £12m receiving £6.5m which isn't too bad overall.

Currently 5th in the league, 25 games gone, 13 wins, 10 draws, 2 losses and 49pts. Johnson is the 3rd league top scorer on 14 goals, behind Rooney and Vagner Love on 16 each.

sucked pre-season with Newcastle so worried I'm going to get creamed in the League, didn't fiddle so I have no previous experience so no players can be bothered
 
Okay Don't like AC Milan, too much effort to move on the players who are eating up the wages, and everyone wants stupid wages when joining the club.

ARGH.

Will start a season as... :/
