Can't find drivers for onboard LAN (Gigabyte P965 S3)

I've downloaded the drivers from the Gigabyte site here, but they don't do anything. The local area connection for the onboard network card just doesn't show up in Network Connections (I'm using XP Pro SP3). The drivers off the disk used to work, but I've lost the disk.

Does anyone know where I can find drivers for it?

Thanks

Those are the correct drivers on the web site so you have another problem. Are you sure the on-board NIC isn't disabled in the BIOS? What do you see in Device Manager?

I can't see any options for the NIC in the BIOS. All I see in the device manager is my PCI NIC that I'm using:

That "other devices" is a TV tuner of mine, not the missing NIC by the way haha.

edit: actually there is a "SMART LAN" option in the BIOS, but the only options in there are virtual cable test. Nothing about enabling or disabling the NIC.

What is in 'Other Devices' in on your system?

Ooops.

There is an option in the BIOS to enable/disable the onboard NIC.

A TV tuner. Windows update installed the drivers and it works, it just doesn't show up in the device manager for some reason.

edit: there isn't an option, unless I can't see it.

Doh, how did I not see that. :o

I just saw the SMART LAN option. I'll go and see.

Thanks

edit: ah, I knew I wasn't blind. :p

That option isn't there for me. Just SMART LAN which doesn't help. I'm using Bios version F13, I'll see if there any BIOS updates I need.

Hmm, there doesn't seem to be any new BIOS updates. Apart from a beta BIOS which I'd rather not try.

I went back to F12 but that didn't do anything. Now I can't change it though. Whenever I try any BIOS version @BIOS just says "Can not load ROM image from BIN file. Maybe BIN file size not match".

inside bios menu "Integrated Peripherals" you should see Onboard H/W LAN which should be set to Enabled. if you can't see this option, then in main bios menu press CTRL + F1, maybe it will help. as it seems for me that your LAN is just disabled in bios.
