Came into work this morning to be told that, the macbook has a virus... I suggest that this isn't really possible and take a look, I resume the laptop and it's logged into one of the daughters accounts, there are a couple of MSN conversations open, both openly talking about 'johnnies' and 'practising bjs'.

Bare in mind the conversation was with same aged friends, so do I bother doing anything?

She's 13 and I didn't pry, it was on the screen right in front of me so I couldn't miss it.

Depends what sort of relationship you have with the owner of the laptop, but generally if I was in your position "I saw nothing".

Better she knows about oral relief and protection than getting up the duff at 16

<daily mail> Teenagers in curious about sex shocker!! </daily mail>

Didnt you talk to your friends about sex at that age? Unless they're talking about their 35 year old internet boyfriends then my advice would be to just ignore it.

PK!

It's absolutely none of your business - and I'm totally shocked you think it might be.

It's not like finding CP or something.

Think back to when you were 13.....

Don't say a thing, kids talk about this stuff, seemingly at an earlier age, but they do, no need to draw attention to it.

Fair point, I guess it's no different to looking at naughty images when you were 13 (ahem).

Does make me wonder why it was thought there was a virus on the laptop though...

Same reasons as you said I expect, it died and wouldn't turn back on without the AC. Non-computer savvy people often forget the plug according to PC help call centres :p
