If he is actually telling the truth then hes the only one losing out with an attention span that short, many a game ive played have taken me a while to get into it and then have been amazing after a while! So if hes not trolling then he must have missed out on many games!
I think its "made up" anyone who says killzone 2 a let down, considering it graphically, aurally, and in sheer game play terms both in SP and MP blows every other console shooter out of the water, is lying.
Dont Sony BS on sales figures and that its acutally stock shipped to stores not acutal sales, didnt they come out saying that they had 40 million PSN users like it was an achievement
Kinda makes you wonder how many 360 sales are actually people who have purchased more than one as they have invalid warranties or simply couldnt be arsed to return thier console again etc. It must be a few million at least with the seriously appauling quality and reliabilty of 360s.
20 million PSN users iirc, and don't tell me that MS don't pull the same crap on a regular basis. 20 million users is something to be proud of, just like 14million WoW subscribers or however many Live subscribers.

Agreed, 20 millions probably a target they set out to reach. They've reached it, so they'll have a new target to chase.
I'm not sure how skewed the stats are though to be honest. I've got 3 PSN accounts and three XBL accounts to get access to all the different content, and I'd bet I'm not alone in that.
A few years ago they like MS used to say a console sale was one shipped out of the factory, now Sony report sales as sold to retailer. I assume Microsoft now do the same.
Maybe we could make a story how MS made early 360s break on purpose so some people would buy an extra console when the warranty was only 3 months rather than 3 years

The MP I love, but the SP does not blow every other console shooter out the water, infact IMO its far from it. I said in another thread I found the SP totally underwhelming and I stand by this, its just that the MP is its redeeming factor.
So his comment might not be made up, he may be judging it purely on SP which can easily be completed on the day of purchase.

Completely agree.
I for one thought PS3 would be ahead of the 360 by now and stated so on this forum several years back. I personally think the thing which has stopped this is the magical £200 price point - had the PS3 reached this point when many think it should have then I'm sure it would be a different discussion.
Well LIVE has 17 million users and there have been 28 Million xbox sales. I think at least 8 million of them will be replacement boxes (i know i have bought 3).
I can't see live have much less than an 85% take up considering the silver is free.
Why would you buy 3 with warranty
I've had over 10 different xbox's in this house and not had to buy a replacement.
Chances are since the 3 year warranty most people that have had to buy another has been because of bannings or not wanting to return a modded console. What they have saved on not buying 3 games pays for a replacement arcade.
Who knows if the xbox sales figures includes the serial numbers of replacements or single sales, not sure.

3yr warranty only covers RROD, it's just one of the many problems.
I'm on my 2nd console if this one dies never again.
Irrelevant, as I've said on here many many times you lie. You tell them it's 3 red even if it's just the drive. Once they make the pick up you get another sent back anyway. Even when they repaired they swapped the drives out as a matter of course on every single one of my repairs.
