Parking Penalty Notices

Just wondered if anyone knew whether traffic wardens usually take pictures of the windshield when issuing a penalty notice for parking without a permit? The missus has a permit but forgot to put it on show (dumb I know) and was wondering if she can appeal using the whole "it musta fell on the floor" excuse.

We know that traffic wardens take pics if you are on double yellows, out of the bays, etc but what about permits and windshields?

if it is with the council then they will know that you have a permit. So all you have to do is write to them and explain that you forgot to display it.

It happened to my housemate, and they let her off.

If its a private company, then screw them and dont pay. Theiving ***** !!

Sometimes I remove the ticket from the windscreen.

Traffic wardens are like flies on excrement.
