Very nice price, god I didnt realise DDR3 was at this price now! Good thing I bought a DDR2 and DDR3 compatible motherboard. I've got some Corsair XMS2 ram, very good stuff so I'm sure this would be great too.

How nice of you to delete my post pointing out these mention nothing about voltage or lack of suitability for an 3x(2x2GB) i7 setup.

Its a dual channel kit so not ideal for i7 anyway on its own.

It wasn't the fact that you pointed out something missed, it was the derisory tone in which you pointed it out, clearly aimed at making a mockery of us and disuading people from the item. A tone in which you still clearly persist.

In reference to your above quote, I fail to see how a dual channel (2 X 2GB) kit could be suitable for a "3X" (your wording) application regardless. The AM3 also used DDR3 in dual channel you know, as does the socket 775 NV790i chipset.

The information WAS missed.
I rectified the situation in under a minute.
Anyone could have simply asked for the information or offered a friendly prompt towards the lack of.
Your outburst was neither needed or appreciated, hence the deletion.

Edit, oh NOW they give a voltage.
When I had originally posted no voltage was included, only timings and speed.

Yes, fixed it mate ;) Apologies for the oversight, it wasn't on the Corsair tech sheet (URL on item page)

Why aren't they suitable?

They are but will work quicker in i7 as a set of 3 - 2 will work fine in dual channel mode though ;)

3 sets of this stuff = 12Gb RAM for £200 quid, seems a good buy for i7

Never thought of that,,,nice 1 :D

It would be suitable for a 12GB kit (3 sets of this 2x2GB kit) (ie 6 sticks total)

I didn't mean to post in a derisory tone, I just found it totally useless to post up a DDR3 kit GIVEN the fact that we have two different voltage requirements with no votlage information.

Look up^^ I just agreed with you. ;)

Agreed, hence the rectification and public apology. Look at the actual product listing and check out the corsair link. The info wasn't provided. Rang Corsair and fixed it ;)

Friends again? :D

Cool. Just to clarify to everyone, its 1.6V so it will run sweet as a nut on i7 platforms in dual or triple channel config.

;):D
