New Build I7 core Under £1500

very Similar to what i have but more expensive thanks tho.

And somewhat better. Better CPU cooler, silent fans, big roomy case properly pre-configured for water-cooling, CAS7 RAM, and a very much better PSU.

Anyone can pick components, the skill is in picking the best components within budget. ;)

:D lets say i had a budget of £1200, it was £1500 but i always felt it would Hurt me more in the long run.

got Bill to pay as well

 that like another 100 on top for a card like that. Saving money is always top priority

Then why bother with spending all that money on i7? by the time power like that is needed for gaming your rig will be worth a fraction of what it is costign you now. The idea of buying big to future proof and just upgrade your gpu is totaly non ecological.

:EDIT:

Not to menchen your gpu is by far the bottle neck in your pc. Your just wasting money imo.

Smelly, it seems you're quite apprehensive about spending so much money. Ask yourself, do you really need to go all out for i7?

If not, then you can get a fantastic rig for half that price, that will max out the majority of games.

my system is not all used on gaming. i do photshoping but i dont want a Mac, i have that at work. i want a home Pc, but like i said if i can save money i like to.

greatfull for the help but i dont want a debate over if i should get a i7 or not :D

if you got a E8400 youd still get the exact same settings in all the games you would with an i7. Cpu's are already way ahead of the gpu's gaming wize and spending that much money on an i7 with taht gpu is just foolish imo.

:EDIT:

An i7 isn't required for photoshop. Especialy if you are getting a mac. but sure go waste your money, clearly its what your wanting to do.

just refined my build. Can it be cheaper but with better parts?

thank all that help so far.

My first build was about £1500, got it down to £1280. if i can go cheaper be better.

ANyways.

spend more on the case now that your happy with as you can keep the case for a future upgrade etc. I have the Antec P180b same as the antec p182 apart from the odd difference, and it was the best buy of my system i love it. However i spend another £4 on a fan to attach on the top HDD cage for cooling and it wont fit as it hit the power cables for my 4870.

yeah i heard some of the Gpus are to long for the p182. but the case looks so good. i like the design and silents is golden.

yea i love the design. The GPU fit in fine. If the GPU power plug were posisted on the side of the board like some do, instead of the end then i would have been able to fit it in.

Get the antec p182!! Make sure its in black :). The only area that could stop the case from begin 100% is that it doesn't have a removable mobo tray.
