Killzone 2: The OcUk clan is a go!

Had a good hour or so online tonight but had to go at 10. From where I was ranking I defo need to put some practice in. Picking up my headset this Thur/Fri which will help matters also.

Should be able to play more tomorrow, hopefully get another rank. :D
 
I was having fun as assualt, even on a loosing team, using boost to get into the c4 room and nade spamming with the grenade launcher, just a pity very few people follwed me in.
 
Right. Anyone else getting sick and tired of the computer putting you into **** teams? Well I am and I have had enough! I nearly always finish in the top 3 overall but my team always seems to lose, get killed repeatedly and run around like they're playing Body Count 24/7 when in fact they shouldn't be!! Grrrrr. Really got on my nerves earlier today so from now on I am going to make myself available to play with the rest of the OcUK clan. Anyone else feel the same way about the general Killzone 2 team mate?
 
when you guys play do you all go ina private (passworded?) server or do you just raid a random server?
 
Perhaps to even things out and for us to have clan wars, some of the higher ranks from clan 1 should go over to clan 2. As i would think most in clan 2 are new players or people who have not played many games it would even things out and it would be a way to seperate the super high rank players.
 
Bah, you're restricting the clan numbers!!! I wanted to invite a couple of buddies in - had great fun playing last night.
 
Out of curiosity, who has such a good connection that they can host a completely lagless 32 man server? Or do we have the ability to create servers on an official server machine or something?

Its annoying as no one seems to know what they are doing.
 
Think part of the problem is because its brand new & most of us wont have been in the beta so we dont know what we are doing & thats why we are running around like headless treating every round like a deathmatch, give it a week & hopefully everyone will be familiar with the different game modes & we'll continue to have some fun games. The round balancing has been a problem, with one team dominating the other, dont know if its been turned on for the ocuk server or it just doesnt work, I always auto select which team I play think most do so that should make the teams random, if the auto balancing doesnt work hopefully it'll be patched soon.

I assumed they were hosted on the servers?
 
I found it okay on the server last night. There wasn't much voice comms from people last night, there was more when I first went on on but died down later on which is understandable. As said the game is new and some people myself included don't really know what they are doing and for me I'm mostly getting used to the maps when I'm playing. I'm sure after a few more days/weeks and with organized squads with voice comms and an experienced SL the clan will rock.

Anyways, what time will people be on tonight? I should be on from around 6-7.

been trying to find this out myself going to try and host a 32 player server today and see how it goes.

I know what you mean.

I tend to change class, now that I have unlocked a few, depending on the current game mode.

I.E. if it's plant C4, use tactician to place nearby spawn points + Engineer to build defensive sentries.
